Hello everybody and oh my god what a long and hot and boring week it has been... I am genuinely looking forward to this week finally ending and cannot wait for a brand new week without school heheeh :*.
Anyways folks. Today we talk about AI and its integration into English classrooms. We were asked to interview a known personality on Magic School's Character Chatbot and write a report on the interview. Then we used Magic School's Writing Feedback Tool and revised our reports accordingly.
The interview part was the most fun for me for obvious reasons. I have always dreamed of speaking to the authors whose works contributed to my personality and Virginia Woolf was the most obvious one for me because she is a literary role model to me and has always been. Even though who I talked to was a bot and not a real person, I feel like its responses were genuine and Virginia would say such things.
Writing the report was such a pain in the head because I had so much trouble focusing. But in the end, I think I did a good job.
AI writing feedback tool helped me write a conclusion to my report which I suck at and it combined pretty well with my writing. The conclusion part was the hardest part for me but we did it guys we did itttt!! (thanks to AI).
I think Magic School is a really cool site for English resources when teaching English to any grade. It has so many tools that integrate technology into teaching and believe me I will be using it when I start teaching.
Goodbye for now folks!
