Retired from sleeping, new career in academics : Welcome (again)

Oh my god! It's been so long since I wrote anything for academic reasons!!! Crazy work... A quick cat picture before we start:

Hello everybody. In my last post I talked about how the term was ending and this blog was coming to a temporary halt etc. Well guess what... Another term has started.

Anyway, since my campus moved, I have a 4-hour commute every day now. The AI picture below depicts me on public transport.

For those who don't know me, I'm Gökçe. Still studying at Marmara University, I'm in my third year of English Language Teaching programme. This blog was created for "ICT and Material Design in ELT" course in my second year and still going on strong! I actually missed writing here so much.

For this year, I'm also going to be writing this blog for a course called "Current Issues in Teaching". I'm enjoying this course as long as we're not having internet connection problems.

This course explores the issues teachers encounter regarding technology use in the classroom on a daily basis and searches ways to prevent/minimalize these issues. Every pre-service teacher should take this class, I think, because technology is an undeniable part of our lives and also makes today's teaching quite easy, applicable and approachable.

Yeah, overall, this was it for today.
